Music at Belvoir

A camper majoring in music can spend two or more hours a day with lessons, music classes, and time for practice.

Beginning students can choose two private lessons weekly on any instrument and voice. Music theory is also available.

All students have an opportunity to perform in weekly recitals in the music room of the mansion.

What is The Belvoir Difference?

Music is everywhere as you walk around the Belvoir campus. Twenty-two private studios nestled in the woods house private music instruction in voice and all instruments. Many campers enjoy lessons in voice, piano, wind and string instruments. Band instruments are also taught and many campers find guitar a popular and fun instrument to study and play. Belvoir enjoys exciting master classes including guest Laura Goldberg, a family member and Juilliard Pre-College teacher. Classes in chorus, opera workshop and chamber music compliment two private lessons weekly.
